Tim Montgomery joins the team at Carrington Place
Celebrated Chef, Tim Montgomery of Bacchus and Berardos at Noosa fame, has joined the team at Carrington Place and is already adding some of his own special magic to our new season menus.
The first chilly breezes are not the only thing heralding the approaching winter. Our new Autumn menu highlights all of the wonderful produce that the change of season brings with it as well as allowing Chef Tim Montogomery to put his stamp on the wonderful reputation Carrington Place has established for fine food and service.
Tim and the team have kept some of the perennial Carrington Place favourites (think potato semolina gnocchi with golden raisins, gramma pumpkin and burnt butter - yum!) as well as our famous staek and lamb dishes from the stone hearth oven, but have added a host of delicious new seasonal dishes to tempt your taste buds. braised northern rivers lamb neck sweet onion - cauliflower - salsa verde
slow roast duck breast duck leg suet pie - sweetcorn - tarragon
berkshire pork cheek black eyed peas - spiced apple chutney
veal schnitzel “Holstein” quail egg - caper butter - white anchovies
slow cooked egg mushroom ragout - buttermilk polenta

Thursday and all that Jazz!
JAZZ it up on Thursday nights at Carrington Place!
The usual suspects..........."Jack McLaughlin's Frenchman St New Orleans Jazz Band" in the bar from 7.00pm. The perfect way to add some zing to your mid-week and also soak up some sensational live music from many of the region's most talented and well known jazz musicians. Top it off with some fine fare from the CP kitchen and a glass of the Hunter's finest! Thursday nights have never neen more fun.
